| So its been awhile since I updated (again) and I thought I should stop in and just mention that I am still alive :P. Things are going pretty good. Dan came home in mid November and we've been pretty busy since then. We moved, got a new car, went on vacation, and are now getting down to the last few months before the wedding so we are trying to finish up all the planning that we need ot get done (which is a lot). If anyone still reads this, I promise, I'll try to update again soon but I am not sure if there are many of you out there anymore but I'll try. I need to change my layout too, I just am not having luck finding one that I like. Oh well....

| Well, I know it has been forever since I've had an update but honestly, since classes finished up, I haven't had anything to update on.
I'm doing alright in case anyone was wondering...
And---
Today marks the start of the 1year countdown!! YEAH, you heard me right!!! One year from today, I will be MRS. Soldierdansgirl !!! I am so excited! I've been planning but one year makes it feel like it is more 'official'. I know its going to go by so fast ecspecially once he is home but I hope to enjoy the entire process! I can't believe I'm already at the Year marker. I know that in the blink of an eye, it will be the 6 month marker and then the big day!!!

| Again, not much to talk about. Life is 'going', the semester is almost over, and the wedding is still being planned 
I went up to check with the registrar on some things the other day at school and come to find out that the college I got my associates degree at never sent my final transcript to Carthage and well, guess who should be graduating right now? Yep. I might still graduate-- but not walk and not recieve my 'pieces of paper' until next winter which is no problem (I hope). I have been assuming I had at least another semester until I was done so I haven't done my senior thesis yet but thankfully the department head said he'd sign off on it and then we'd take care of it 'after the fact' so that we can finish everything up and of course save about 15,000 in tuition (just a small chunk of change, right?!?!) It would have been nice if soemone had told me this A LONG time ago because I had no clue. I have the recipt still from before I graduated Lincoln requesting that an official Transcript be sent to Carthage POST graduation....and of course it didn't so how was I to know any differently??? Anyways- it kinda screws things up for me and I'm dissappointed that I wouldn't ahve had a 'senior' year in college. Not to mention that I am still cluesless as to what I want to do since I haven't really been thinking about it since I figured I'd have time.
Plus, we had it worked out that when Dan comes home, I would be graduating, and then he'd find work and then I'd find work wherever he gets a full time job but now I'll have to find a job here, work it, and then have to leave when he finds work so what we are thinking is I'll work and then put in my two weeks about a month before the wedding so I can find work else where and tie up loose ends in the planning. It's just frustrating.
I do plan on going and getting my paralegal certificate though. I found an ABA certified post-baccalaurette(sp?) program for it and thats the one i'm going to do. I'm happy about that because it will be adults and other people my age that have had 4 years of college already and that makes a big difference in the 'enviorment' and its only 18 credits which I'll probably try to do as a full time student so that I can get it done right away and then get my CLA. So thats my plan right now.
Well, I guess I had a lot more to say then I thought. I'm just really frustrated and haven't been in the mood for much of anything. It would probably be easier to sit down and figure it all out if Dan were here but we're managing. As of right now--- we are looking at AZ as our final 'destination' but of course thats very subject to change. And Dan today said that its an estimated NLT 10/1/06 return date but I won't believe that until it happens. A month ago it was "Before Thanksgiving" obviously they odn't know either, its all 'speculation' and rumor so thats why I still expect him to come home in 2/07 like his orders say....thats the last possible date so thats the one I have my heart and mind set to. But of course, I'll take an earlier date but I just won't believe it until it happens.

| Sorry I haven't been posting much of substance lately but with this semester coming to an end, there hasn't been a lot going on. And while I normally say no one reads this-- because of the LACK in comments, I can see from my counter that there are people actually coming to my site so I guess I should give you something worth reading huh??
Well, the only MAJOR thing right now is that my dad put the deoposit down on our wedding place yesterday and I am SOOOOOO excited. Next on my list of things to do--- Gowns!
